Everybody getting game time to keep their fitness levels up and avoid injury. Unfortunately the injuries hit first. Yeh I see that point, he wouldn't have taken Wilson, ASM and Bruno out at the same time through choice though. Definitely not. I think one at a time, two at a push. This is why I'm not too concerned about the squad. I always felt we could accommodate one back-up in the starting eleven, but the way we've performed without [arguably] our best 3 players, has been revelatory. Not to mention that Howe has also rotated the defence. Edited September 3, 2022 by Happinesstan

Ronaldo
Wish he’d be less soft, that’s all. Nobody is doing us any favours, and I’d have liked to see him confront the referee about that ridiculous VAR decision.
wormy
I try to remind myself that one of the reasons I love the guy is how calm he manages to stay all the time. But I would've loved a bit more from him than 'baffled' tbh. We're getting screwed on a regular basis; this isn't going to 'even itself out'.

The Prophet
I can't believe anyone is seriously grumbling at this point. Even if you consider today disappointing, it's the first of "bad" results of the season. (I think it was neither good nor bad for what it's worth, but context is important.) Happinesstan
Today is the first game in which I would say we've possibly dropped points, if you consider each game in isolation. The fact it has come at the end of 3 games in 6 days [no excuse for that at this stage of the season] puts a different light on things. Full week ahead before Bruno shows his bestie how to dominate the PL.

Guest
Even if we'd got the players you wanted, two home wins, a draw at one of the mid-table clubs away, and a defeat against the other plus Man City & Liverpool would have been about right. We've got those same points just a different way.
Aiston
Howe should have acted more like Moyes about the decision. No chance ours gets much of a mention in the media now.
The Prophet
If the officials had done their jobs in the last week, the discourse would be totally different. We'd be looking at a result at Anfield and a win today.
