Took an hour to make ANY sort of change as well despite us not looking any better

 

Have to see a rapid improvement immediately next game.

Absolutely shown up for the second week in a row.

 

Quite clearly it isn't working but no doubt it'll be the same formation and starting team next week.

 

The fixtures do get kinder but we wouldn't beat the Craggy Island 5-a-side team playing like this. Really hope he can sort it out and string a few wins together asap because he's very quickly undoing 18 months of good work with this shit unbalanced midfield selection.

There will be some very emotional children on this thread tonight. 
 

But this is the worst performance I can remember since our resurgence under Howe, worse than the Villa 0-3. Poor performances all round and well and truly done today, we have work to do. All our good work is nowhere near undone by this and the Liverpool game but we need to really to get going after the break, we can’t go into the CL games in poor form as that is suicide.

 

As for ‘believing his own hype’ that’s ironically what a lot of our fans have done, we had one very good over achieving season and many fans expected to continue the same trend. Today was dogshit but we had 4 difficult fixtures and we were especially terrible today, we have a very long way to go.

You can't start three number 8's in midfield every week, it's just too unbalanced. We could do with a prime Tiote in there now. Longstaff and Anderson are just not good enough when you're chasing a game.

Players and managers should be given credit when they do well but should also be criticised when played badly, Players look like they dont give a shit today and Howe got his tactics wrong.

Which is fair enough, but under the shit of Ashley, plenty were happy to just tod along.

 

But now we're in the Champions League, and have lost too many games apparently, people will kick off.

we’ve been bad defensively ever since we abandoned the high line and aggressive sweeper keeper towards the end of last season. The high line meant there was less space between our defence and midfield but we abandoned it and became much better offensively to compensate.

 

This season we have been so bad with the ball it’s unreal.

Im not going to look into this thread for a little while as I know it'll be bad for my blood pressure.

 

What I will say is two things, anyone calling for him has a screw loose, he has done absolute fucking wonders for this club and three performances won't change that.

 

Also, while these three performances have been poor, we have had three of the hardest games back to back, and there should be absolutely no pressure on him at this stage at all, from fans or from the board. He has so much credit in the bank it's unreal.
