SEMTEX Posted January 30, 2018 Share Posted January 30, 2018 Everyone's understandably going to be refreshing like mad tomorrow hoping that we do something before the deadline but even if that incredibly unlikely scenario became reality, who could we possibly get at this stage that would substantially improve the team? Obviously we're not going to be spending anything, let alone the kind of money that forces a selling club to give up one of their better players with no time to get a replacement themselves. This is premeditated and deliberate over and above anything we’ve seen before. It’s like Dave said last night, it’s Ashley banking on the squad being just good enough, spending nothing, seeing the tv deal promise more money and asking for even more from PCP in the summer on the strength of no cash being spent.
