'Keep us up inexpensively' appears to be the only meaningful policy in all football operations. I get that, but surely he's going to want at least a 2/3 year contract, and I can't see us getting him for just the rest of this season. Makes no sense because they are both more in the mould of Hayden and are more suited to the defensive midfielder role. If he’s going with ASM, Almiron, Fraser & Wilson with Lewis an attacking full-back, there’s a bit of logic to two sitting midfielders. Can you imagine a player coming into the club and having to play under Bruce. Players have been able to watch every PL game this last years so it’s quite easy to see the level of football constantly being played under Bruce.
