Don’t think I would either, he’s very one footed from what I’ve seen but I just wondered if anyone who knew a bit more about him than me thought there could be value there.

If we've learnt something over they years it should be avoid Manchester United rejects. Expensive and rarely motivated to contribute and that's without including any limitations they have as players.

Antony just feels a more expensive, younger Almiron, but with the cunt persona.

Also rather not help Man Utd get rid of their deadwood. If spending money at Man Utd and they want sales, better throwing £20m at Shae Lacey who will be the next top thing.

They’re not that Man Utd anymore though.

Players go down when they sign for them and can reignite/improve when they leave.

Mctominay, Henderson, Elanga, Sancho etc.

The polar opposite of what they used to be, basically.

Antony is 24, get him firing again and in the Brazil squad and there’s value in that deal.

I’m arguing against myself here though as every time I’ve seen him he’s been very poor, but at £20m even he seems cheap.

It would be a massive risk, but there's clearly a player in there. The weight of expectation at that club has buried a lot of players, Sancho included, and look at him at Chelsea.
Maybe a fresh start is what he needs to get his career back on track. That should probably be abroad and out of the spotlight tbf but stranger things have happened

His wages would be very high, I guess if he’s a dud we could sell him to Saudi.

It’ll be interesting to see which Prem club either this summer coming or next, make a move to sign him. Because a winger who scores 15+ goals are not easy to get and I bet many clubs would want him, but stay away because of the baggage. But at some point, a club will say fuck that.

Probably Chelsea.
