Kieran Trippier: has a chance to play against Everton (Howe)

Recommended Posts

The amount of goal kicks that get kicked to his side from the opposition and he either wins the header or judges it to leave it out for a throw in is brilliant

Such a great footballer. He pinged an unbelievable ball to Wilson in the first half to run on to, sadly Wilson just didn't have the pace but it was incredible, even our subs were applauding

Wonder if he’s just a bit burnt out? He never gets subbed off really. He played three matches at the WC? Wish we had a good option to rest him for at least fifteen mins per match

think he’s carrying a knock, went down hard in the week and since then we’ve been putting other players on many of the left sided corners

Poor set pieces again and two really poor passes that put us into trouble. He's also conceded a pen.

Very harsh regarding the set pieces. It also wasn’t a penalty. Two bad passes not really deserving the criticism he’s getting today IMO.

Think people have been overcritical of his crossing recently whilst it hasn't been pinpoint. Great again defensively today. Undoubtedly my favourite ever NUFC full back in my lifetime

Looked to me like they put Bobby Reid on his side to man mark him all game so he became less of a threat

Usually Willian would play that side

This is why I think Howe needs to consider adding more threat to the left side.  Leeds and now Fulham have done a solid job defensively, being able to focus more on our right.  We could do with adding some balance across the pitch to give opponents more to think about.
