It’s incredible that a right back is consistently up there with the most assists. Besides Howe, he’s the best thing that has happened to us since the takeover. Scoot
Just an unreal player for us. He's having an even better season this season than he did last and I never thought that was possible.
Vinny Green Balls
Also helps that he seems like a really decent guy

Bally21
An absolute masterstroke bringing him in as our first signing after the take over, think he only cost approx 14 million euros.
Pata
Think he's just getting better and better. Had some iffy moments defensively last season but rock solid this season.
Kanj
Was rock solid after that assist to Isak
nemtizz
Naughty assist. I was half watching on my phone from a distance and thought it was Almiron using his right foot.
alexf
Just an exquisite volleyed cross. Exceptional as always Tripps.
Lush Vlad
Was speaking to a couple of mates watching the Brighton-Liverpool game about players who just fit a system, that wouldn't necessarily be so good elsewhere. Or players that you don't really notice how good they are until you see them regularly. I obviously went to town on how good Trippier is and that I didn't appreciate him until we signed him. As a leader, with his passing, his first touch. Just everything, basically. Then 5 minutes later he put that ball in for Isak and it totally proved my point. Some player. Technically, I think he might be the best footballer I've seen supporting the club (born in 89).
AyeDubbleYoo
I honestly think he could keep doing this until he's at least 40.

Nine
The one truly irreplaceable player we have at the moment, what he offers us on and off the pitch isn’t something you can just dip into the market and buy back when it goes. He’s an ultimate professional, that should bode well as far as longevity providing he/we get lucky with his fitness. The most important signing since Shearer. Paully
The catalyst and the leader of our transformation - up there with our best ever signings and seems a genuinely to bloke too - legend!
pubteam
For the number of chances he creates I'm not sure there is a better attacking full back. He's been tremendous this season, and has a brilliant understanding with Bruno and Miggy, almost empathic with his ability to find space. They must spend hours working on the patterns of play. He's going to play a pivotal role in brining on tino and hall.
Kanj
I'm of the mindset he's the best fullback in the world.

Tiresias
It's wild to me seeing him play for Burnley and Azpilucueta was playing for Chelsea, that Chelsea squad doesn't feel very long ago at all

M1tche
People go on about trent being so good on the ball, but don't seem to mention it even half as much with Trips. Apart from power in the strike they're pretty much on par for me, and Trips can defend miles better.
Tiresias
TAA is only a right back really because he can put in great crosses from that position, otherwise he is pretty poor, albeit his crossing really is that good that it does compensate some of the time. I am not convinced he is a central midfielder either, if anything he is a really old fashioned wide right winger for me but that position is just dead Edited October 21, 2023 by Tiresias
McCormick
I don’t think we’ll ever have a right-back as good as Trippier again. Such a special player.
