Not sure what that says but thought it was a wild stat 23 of those was him to Schar and back in a 20 second spell
Stottie
Leicester had essentially given up by the time Trippier came on. We were in see it out mode too, so didn't attempt anything too ambitious.

From where I was stood in GEC it looked like Bruno wasn’t sure whether to pass it to Burn or Trippier and then the three of them quickly decided on Burn Edited December 15, 2024 by bobbydazzla

Where i was sat it looked like when Bruno came to give him it he waved him away and pointed to Burn. I thought Burn looked slightly confused by it all. Heron
Should be Burn. He's featured more and has been a leader for us. Trippier wad right to do so in my opinion, unless otherwise intsructed by his manager.
Smal
watching the game back. He looked really motivated and was barking out instructions all the time. Reassuring.
Fak
Top class today considering his lengthy layout and was chucked back in the side last minute. Hope that injury is just a precaution.
54
That was a Trippier 2022/23 performance that, top quality all round.
Sibierski
Very good. Bit slow in some situations, but calm and that defending at back post for 2-0 was his experience reading the situation where you don’t need pace.

Nucasol
There was a moment Villa had a corner, you could see him talking to the team who were all stood still and next thing you know they were all alert, bouncing on their toes. Absolute leader on the pitch.
lovejoy
Not leaving in Jan as it stands, nowhere to go. Good news in the short term, he was good against Villa.
Checko
Still think having Trips in the squad is probably worth at least 3 or 4 points over the year. Just from having a quality backup when needed, his experience, leadership, especially as we have two young developing fullbacks.

I think his experience will be vital on what looks like a renewed assault on top four and Europe second half of the season. He’ll go in the summer I’d imagine. Yeah, there was an interview with him with Gary Neville just before the Euros where he basically said going forward he just wants to play as long as possible & is happy to drop down the leagues if necessary to do so. I doubt he'll want to be a backup another year. Would be a good pick up for a newly promoted team though. Maybe if Burnley get back up.

christ
He offers us something different to Tino, so I’d definitely keep him around if we’re able to/he’s happy to stay. Having two overlapping fullbacks either side who can whip balls in adds another dimension IMO.

Sibierski
He’s experience is needed, but he needs to keep it together off the pitch too.
STM
I reckon by the end of January someone will see him as a useful cheap option for a couple of seasons. Everton perhaps.
