Who would you drop for him to play? both Schar and Burn have been outstanding and they complement each other.
Elliottman
Will be Schar and Burn for Wolves, be amazed if he drops either.

NSG
Staggered if it’s a thing other than Schar and Kelly v Bromley and Schar and Burn v Wolves. Tough decision for Howe moving forwards but great to see us have a few options for once.

Not sure, but i reckon it might be good to give him this weekend's game off consideríng that he has played two games in such a short period of time. Perhaps Give Burn a rest against Wolves. Would not mind playing Botman and Schar against Wolves as the two of them are great on the ball. I'm good either way, some rotation ain't bad. mondonewc
Would be madness to play him three times in a week when he's just comeback from a serious injury. Hope he's not even in the squad for the weekend.
The Prophet
Schar will come back in to add balance and for his passing range, but his slight decline this season probably means he's the most defensively sus of the three of them.

Schar has had a rest and therefore will be ready to play a few games back to back. In 2 or 3 games time, I could see him rotating either Burn or Schar for Botman. Southampton away perhaps. Newcastle Fan
Came back at the right time! Looked much sharper today.
andycap
Played well it'll take a while before his full sharpness is back mind.
Lush Vlad
I thought Schar would be a miss. But I think this game suited Botman and Burn. They loved that contested ball first half with Hwang or Strand Larsen back to goal. Botman and Burn won that battle most the while. They are both very aggressive with their press and good in the air. Both the CB’s were decent, I thought. I didn’t feel like they were the ones at fault for most of the chances conceded.
Miercoles
Did he touch the ball today? Not sure I heard his name once. Which isn't necessarily bad for a center half of course. Contrast to Burn who kept going on little adventures today lol.
Alberto2005
Hopefully Schar is back Saturday as he looked tired towards the end understandably.
janpawel
He showed an incredible burst of pace against Cunha towards the end
AyeDubbleYoo
Have to admit I forgot how good he is. He’s genuinely a world class defender.
nemtizz
Doesn’t deserve to be dropped per se however we’re far more balanced with Schar on the right, and Burn is currently undroppable.
Elliottman
Was probably my MOTM last night, thought he was class. Makes it look so easy taking the ball of people at times.

How is Burn undroppable. He's been good but Botman is the better player.

Also everyone is a professional in the squad/on the team, unlike here. He’ll be fine if he gets “dropped” on Saturday like.
Nucasol
You can make an argument that Eddie may “rotate” again on Saturday. Southampton away with a full week between games will be the interesting one when everyone is potentially back fit.

Because along with Hall he’s been our best and most consistent player all season. Edited January 16 by nemtizz
Sibierski
Burn and Hall also got a great understanding right now, which you don’t break it up mid season unless it’s an enforced change. Edited January 16 by Sibierski
The Prophet
We miss a bit I'd balance with Schar, along with his range of distribution, but on current form Botman and Burn should be first choice. Schar had been below his usual high standards this season.
Kanj
I thought our ability to pin them in was mostly down to Sven being his usual self winning aggressively at midfield. He was fantastic imho. Been out for ages and he’s slotted in brilliantly.
