Merino got half a yard on him and was able to execute flawlessly. It’s a positional issue. If your man is able to win a header in the box and you’re not even touching him, he’s done you and you’ve let yourself down a bit. 
 

That’s what Burn has been doing so tremendously. That hasn’t been happening to him when it matters.

He's back and because Burn's been so good in his absence, easy to forget just how good Botman is. He's been imperious, and I think he will take some shifting now he's got the shirt.

Feared the worst when he kicked the ball off his dish for a corner but he played well. Realised early he was stronger than their striker and pocketed him nicely.

So now Thiaw, Botman and Burn are all "undroppable"? That means either 5-3-2 or Burn at left back, unless we are dropping Thiaw to play a left footed RCB.

Availability isn't something a potential buyer could ignore - so it's hard to see anyone bidding too much more than we paid
