Dont need rest with one game a week and only two games left. Just sub him out earlier when he clearly is knackered.

Less to do with resting physically and more mentally. He looked below average today I thought.

No chance I would play Barnes with Saka on that side. He just doesn't cover back whilst Gordon does.

Yes that's what I would go for. Gordon LW, Murphy RW.

I thought we played fantastic in the first half.

He made most of his mistakes in the later part of the game.

Dan Burn has been the best centre half in the whole of the Premier league by far this season. He's brilliant. Just some people don't see it.

he was really good. I didn't see any rustiness in his performance at all.

It's mad how he can go long spells without playing and come back without messing a beat.

A true rolls Royce.

Also obviously we discuss squad a lot and we've achieved so much this season and this lad has barely played. Lewis hall has been out for long periods too. The cartel better hope we don't have money to spend because we are about to pack them up

Why are the Chronicle reporting 'Botman rocked by knee problem'? Hoping it's just their usual click bait trash, but if he's sidelined once again... :anguish:

Eddie Howe apparently said he was icing his knee at half time and it was partially because of that, as well as tactical reasons, he was subbed. So yeah, basically click bait.

Didn't he smash his knee off someone when clearing the ball in the first half? Was down for a minute or say but probably just a knock?

That back three must feel like a million dollars lining up beside each other, like, it's one hell of a unit.

How good was it to see him back though? he hardly played this season yet when he does he contributes to us winning big games.

Crazy how quickly he is able to get up to speed without any game time - and he'll only get better

This seems to be Caicedo's approach to football. Overcommit to tackles in the hope opponents start pulling out.

Yellow card armour on Sunday allowed him to do it all game.

Not too dissimilar to Joelinton regarding this tbh. Caicedo is a very very good player imo.

Bit of a daft thing to say like

Hes came back from an ACL in decent time and picked up another couple of injuries which by all accounts can happen

Lascelles has just got back from his original injury...

Absolutely gutting if so. Not just for him but because I felt like we could definitely go and beat Arsenal with that same set up. Hopefully Krafth can come in and Schär go central.
