The Prophet
Absolutely grasping at straws here, but Ben Jacobs recently said that if Arsenal opted not to sign Tielemans we were in with a sniff. I wonder if Zinchenko would impact this.
The Prophet
Just listening to Eddie's interview in full. This is a very interesting quote: ‘You have to be adaptable because if we can’t find the right player, I might have to look at other positions. We are looking at quality players who will make the group better, regardless of position.’

Never said it myself. Thought it was probably a mining thing, which might have some truth though maybe Viking origins: “Marra, as a slang word for a mate, derives from a local pronunciation of marrow, which has been used to mean “companion” or “workmate” since the 1400s. No one really knows where the word comes from, but it's possible that it might be related to an old Scandinavian word meaning “friendly” or “outgoing”.” Edited July 15, 2022 by Coffee_Johnny Etymology attack…

Even raving/djing up and down the country for many years, whenever mentioning Cumbria, I'd always get marra comments.

It was almost like if we can't get a 40/50m ST or RW then I'll use that money to get a top notch midfielder.

The England player's United contract expired last month.”…….Probably bollocks, but an interesting way of getting Lingard without paying all his wages….Whichever club he might go to in SA, then loans him to us whilst paying some of his wages…..perhaps a swop loan with gayle?
