Article says Ekitike wants to stay in Europe.

Its always been obvious this guy has never wanted to join us after the last two attempts. Should have never been on the shortlist.

If Isak is predicted to leave in next 2 seasons, then that pays for Ekitike in the PSR period accounting period. Can make sense to take the PSR loss in 2025, cement the top 5 position (!?) and then sell Isak for 1 trillion dollars in 2027.

Do you want to buy a house in a Tynemouth, an established middle class area, with low levels of crime and a relatively stable, but expensive housing market

Or do you want to buy a house in North Shields, which is near to Tynemouth but you can get property relatively cheaply and prices are rising quickly, however, there's a genuine risk that you might end up living next to a crack den

A boring house surrounded by wankers who talk about carpets and mortgages or somewhere fun by the sea with easy access to (possibly free) crack?

I drove through North Shields a few weeks ago, on a Friday morning, (worked there for six years a couple of decades ago) on way to Fish Quay and there appeared to be a queue of women outside a tattoo shop. Never heard the last of it from (non-Geordie) partner.

He's been curving Newcastle for about 3 years [emoji38] Zero interest in the guy.

A couple of tattoo shops do walk in offers on Friday 13th, it gets heaving.

One of the Tattoo shops puts out a flash sale type offer for a fixed price tattoo on social media so it regularly has people queues outside

I look forward to your sternly worded letter to the editor after you've finished discussing fridges and shit cardigans with Derek Wilson from next door.  Boring old git.

That’s exactly why I live in North Shields

But Sir Eddie of Howe played it safe and moved to Gosforth (basically Tynemouth without sun and sand and waves)

Cogito ergo sum the reason for our transfer policy

Looks like Ekitike’s agent still can’t find his arse from his elbow, given that Newcastle is in Europe - both geographically and football-ally

He's being linked with Newcastle and 2 Saudi clubs in the article.

Article says his preference is to remain in Europe and not go to Saudi.

That’ll be it! It was 13th June. Won’t stop me getting a gentle ribbing about why I ended up with a woman from outside of Tyneside, but at least I now have an explanation.

How about this for a theory. There is truth in this and Liverpool being keen on Gordon. The plan is to buy Ekitike and sell Gordon. It would leave us in a better PSR position and on paper the squad more balanced overall as Ekitike can play on the left and is a proper striker.
