The biggest shame of those injuries was that he was playing to the level of literally dragging us to points/victories. Scoring crucial goals etc.

Hoping the rest for the first time ever it seems for us and the performances on the pitch whiles he's been away  mean he comes back like a man possessed (no pressure Bruno)

Throw the chequebook at him. He’s a modern NUFC icon and we know he’s not going to lose yards of pace as he gets older.

We really just need to match whatever he would get elsewhere, assuming it's within our wage structure. I'm pretty sure he would stay if he gets that.

I didn't realise he only had 2 years come the summer (unless we have an option for a further year) just feels like 5 mins ago he signed a new one. He isnt a speed merchant (so its not like him getting older will rob him of what he doesnt have) and is such an intelligent and passionate player has been a great captain in the end for once unless someone is going to offer big money I say he is one of the players you keep for another 4 years and let him go back to Brazil which I think was mentioned/reported.

Even if someone offered 70m for him now I am just not sure we could replace his qualities even if it would be a "psr win".

As a whole package he is irreplaceable. Sell him we sell our soul. Think he gets a new contract before next season.

I know I go on about good value and letting players go at the right time I just feel like we have players who may already want to go (Tino & Tonali) so now isn't the time to rip up the full squad for reinvestment purposes.

I hope he gets a new deal and he stays until he and his family wish to return to Brazil it may be our last chance to sell him for good money but like you say he's such a big part of our identity I don't want him to go.

He is priceless, not just as a player but as a character and a leader, we have to do whatever it takes to make sure he stays, for fear of repeating what has already been said, you take him out the club, you remove the beating heart of the club and I don't think we recover from that in any meaningful way.

I honestly don’t see the logic in them going for Bruno, he’s a great player but his value to us is so much more than it would be with another club.

I think Man U would be more interested in Palmer this summer and move Fernandes back to the 8, then look at Anderson too.

I think Fernandes being dropped deep again would cause a riot in the stands. We'll only go for a #10 once he eventually leaves.

Rumours are Palmer wants a move back north. Would he not be a big enough deal to sign?

He's already got another two years left on his deal at the end of the season, so I assume hiking his salary up to the maximum we can possibly afford will have an impact on our financial flexibility in the transfer market. Suds and the scouts are gonna have to really earn their keep if we're to execute the scale of rebuild we supposedly need.

That said, peddling Tino feels like a more inviting prospect by the day.

If Spurs go down I can see Porro being a more attractive option to City. Technically superior to Livramento albeit weaker defensively

I reckon a decent amount of our players will be open to moves. They've all given us 4 years or so of footy and in that time the club hasn't matched the ambitions that they themselves laid out.

I'm sure Tonali's world class first time passes will find all of his teammates at City. Our players are just so shit and cannot begin to comprehend such high level passing accuracy.

I mean I think statistically and to the eye he was probably our best player this season, coupled with the historical bad stats of struggling to win without him and it all adds up to us missing him badly for this big run in we had of important games.

Shame he's coming back after we already got eliminated from everything and have very little to play for in the league.

There's plenty still to play for in the league, if we put a run together we could still conceivably qualify for European football. Other than Arsenal away all of our remaining fixtures are ones we would expect to win on paper and with Bruno back and more rest and focused training between games it's possible our performances will improve.

I’m all for a bit of a clear out. Just not Bruno or Hall. Would be too much

Pretty much this, don't really care who we sell this summer as long as we keep them two.
