 The amount of tears and fume over tweets is genuinely infuriating to read. So many flouncers added to ignore.

Adds flouncers to vocab.

Between the TT invasion and the transfer rumors the past few days my ignore function is running red hot.

Is Shelvey the white dot in the centre?

He looks like the perfect #8. Let him have a box to box slightly free role and get someone more defensive minded too. One that sits a bit deeper but can break forward too. Deniz Zakaria for example 😉

Don't remember what it's like to have a CM that can control the ball in tight spaces under pressure and still look calm and relaxed and get out of situations like that with ease.

Joelinton to a degree lately maybe

Never heard of him but he looks like a good player and has pretty heat maps. Welcome.

Watched him play v PSG a few weeks back - was so impressed with what I saw - just assumed he was Arsenal bound

Definitely not he will play beside him, Shelvey has been one of our best players since Howe.

Exactly. It will be the pair of them in midfield.

Shelvey sitting deep, alongside Bruno who is more of an all action midfielder.

Think we'll then see Joelinton as the third man in there either as a deep striker/number 10, which is where Howe envisioned using him originally, or as an additional CM in a three as he has been playing.
