Ketsbaia
It was an honour to be there, in person, for those two microphone moments The guy is in love and it's a two-way thing.

He's the one who's living it, and done what no other could do, he's now a legend and will be forever. Ginola?
Decky
That Tonali chant might be the best thing I've ever seen one of our players ever do. Wish I could have seen Tonalis face for it.

Ginola does truly love us, talks about us all the time, it just didn't work out after Keegan left, Dalglish didn't fancy him, I'm sure someone influenced that decision. Didn’t arse himself at all for a couple of decades until it offered media work, he threw in the towel playing for us halfway through 95/96, wanted out when KK was here, Dalglish was absolutely right to push him out - we looked many times better playing a 4-3-3 after Ginola was dropped. Daveeed was a good footballer, but I never got the feeling at all that he was all that arsed about us.

Likewise - I was down there with my dad; Lee Dixon kicked him from pillar to post. The red card was a disgrace.

Ginola14
such a natural leader and captain I recall quite a few here questioning the decision to give him the armband wonder if that's still the case? think he'll also get a statue some day and go down as one of the best signings in the club's history

He clearly always had charisma and has grown a lot of influence as a result but there's other elements that he needs to round off I think. Only natural though. Newcastle Fan
Absloute dogshit performance today, lost count of how many times he lost the ball or mis-placed a pass, but he's allowed a night off from time to time.
Pilko
Rotten tonight. Effort and tenacity was there but bloody hell, he couldn't pick a pass for toffee. Sean would have been ran out of town with a mob waving pitchforks for that sort of showing.

Lush Vlad
His passing was poor. But it’s worth pointing out he’s one of our only players who even attempts through balls. Which is what most of the ‘bad’ passes were. What’s the average success rate for those? Very low I would have thought. Less than 30-40%? He seemed to be forcing it a bit and massively telegraphing it all the while, though. Which meant Lewis Potter or Pinnock just picked them off. He was also back to hanging onto it a bit too long. So the window to pass it had gone. Meaning our player was offside or the defender had closed off the space. I don’t think he was “dogshit” or “rotten” however. That seems hyperbolic in the extreme.
