I just checked, that's the only goal that was from open play, and not from set piece. Hall has 2, and Livra 1. Obviously he's a threat from set pieces nomatter where he plays on the pitch. And yes the others are not a goal threat either, but they can put in crosses.

Yeah, makes sense - and obviously no sane person would advocate for playing anyone other than those two at FB.

He's great for a header like that when the marking is shit (see Cup Final goal), I wish he'd do it more when he's under a bit of pressure, should be worth a cheap 8 or so goals a season.

That’s how we need to use Burn from set plays - he wins more this way - it’s the whipped ball he struggles with

I agree but there are about three defenders hanging on his arms and neck. What can he do? The referees should help more.

Thought the goal impacted his performance a little negatively he was back off up the pitch and trying to attack leaving Sven to cover at the back. 

 

I love the bloke for wanting to do well and putting everything in to it but wish he understood his limitations in the role and sometimes leave that side of things to midfield and front 3. 

 

2 goals in the champions league and an England International at this stage of his carear i bet he thinks hes dreaming sometimes.

The Dan Burn at left back debate is so meaningless. I don't think any fan, Eddie Howe or Dan Burn himself really wants him to be playing left back.

What's not up for debate is that wherever he plays he has to be in the side somewhere. He just brings so much t the team.

He's not dreaming at all . Dan Burn is an England international and I can tell that fact hurts you so much. If you knew your football at all then you would know that Thiaw was actually "covering at the back" not Sven.
