gbandit
Seemed pretty mindless posting the same thing in every thread. What are you expecting us to do in the summer, ship out more than ten players for new ones?
tgarve
Sorry I’ve had a few bevs No I like Targett to be fair just think we need 1 better left back also

The Prophet
I'd 100% sign him up. Always a solid 7/10 and we can focus on other positions.
Raconteur
I keep reading that “we should sign him permanently” when I am about a billion percent certain his permanent signing was confirmed about two weeks after he joined on loan? I know I don’t always have the firmest grasp on reality, but I’m pretty sure I’m not making that up… EDIT So it seems the deal I’m thinking of was when the two clubs agreed a fee of £13.5m to make the deal permanent. Seems it’s such a no-brainer I concluded the deal in my mind… Edited April 9, 2022 by Raconteur
Ikon
One of those players that over a whole season makes sure you end up a couple of places higher up the table because of the consistency of 7.5/10 performances.
Guest HTT II
He played some super quick forward passes down the line last night, which often was bolloxed up by ASM or Wood headed out or to nowhere. He’s calm, assured, disciplined and defensively switched on. For 15m he’d be a bargain. Again, SOLID.
Dr.Spaceman
I like him, I think he's an excellent option for us as we are currently. Decent touch, good enough positionally and tends to make the right decision. Exactly what we need, not some French Billy Big Bollocks on 8 times the wedge using us as a stepping stone to a vacuum. huss9
our most important january signing (imho). think howe could have got lascelle playing better as he has with joelinton, schar and krafth. we were badly struggling at LB though.

Trippier without a shadow of doubt.
LFEE
One regular weakness I’ve noticed is when a winger turns inside he seems very flat footed with his positioning.
Thiago
For all the clamour of us spending £93m I think him and Burn have had the most sustained impact. There's a lot to be said for having a good solid pro that gives you consistency and doesn't take needless risks. I'm also consistently impressed when he gets a chance to cross from open play. He's not perfect (who is) but it would take a very good defender to take his place.
nufc123
Would take some money to upgrade Targett. Outside the top teams who has been better Cresswell and Mitchell?
TRC
Cucurella would be nice, but happy with Targett for 15m
WarrenBartonCentrePartin
He's the left back Lee Ryder thinks Paul Dummett is.
80
Great buy, lovely guy. The kind of character you want to have succeed at your club. More offensive quality than you might expect, too.
gbandit
He never gives less than everything. He’s got that James Milner attitude of giving the best he possibly can every game even if he’s not the most gifted player technically. Really like him and I’m sure he’ll be here next season
AJ9
I’m glad he’s come good. I always felt he would be a good signing tbh, had no doubt he would be a huge upgrade on what we had. It’s not silly to say that without him on the left and instead continuing with Ritchie or Dummett, we would be looking at a very different situation

Jordan
Hope we make it permanent in next couple weeks. Would be daft not to.
