Abacus
Pretty dull to watch this. It's only interesting to see how City try and adapt their passing game to having a big out and out striker. Feels a bit disjointed at the moment. I'm hoping Pep starts yelling "just kick it to the big man!"
AyeDubbleYoo
The way Haaland covers ground is unreal, he’s like a different species.

Doesn’t fit what they’re pushing this season, out of the games I’ve watched they’ve been by far the worst bar the first 3 mins.

Dr Jinx
Like watching paint dry though. It’s effective I guess but so slow.

Then you see the champions, playing the team that finished 7th last year off the park. It’s like an FA Cup game against a League Two side. Hoping I’m wrong and I know it is only one game. But feels like the gulf between City and the rest of the league is going to E be even greater this season.

Kid Icarus
You'd think they'd stick Alvarez on, they're missing what Sterling gave them too
STM
I think City have weakened themselves. Certainly have worse depth. In; Alvarez, Haaland and Phillips Out; Fernandinho, Sterling, Zinchecko and Gabriel Jesus.

Smal
As soon as you start playing higher up the field against City that goal is pretty much always going to be on now for Haaland isn’t it. Depressing.
