Can't bring myself to read their forum. Some truly awful things being said. They should be ashamed of themselves.

He has feelings and bleeds gravy, people should remember that. He doesn't deserve the abuse those fans dish out. They don't know how lucky they are to have him

A really poor performance, a third successive home game without a goal (two of which they have lost) for the first time in almost 20 years.

And, after just one point from his five games in charge, new boss Steve Bruce must be wondering what on earth he has walked into here . . . and what he can do next.

He has skipper Jake Livermore due back from suspension at Hull on Saturday - but the next two home games after that are against two of the current top three, Huddersfield and Fulham.

And that, right now, is a worrying prospect!

Inject it into my veins.

Dust waselves down

Roll wuh sleeves up

Pull wuh socks up

I've said many many times

That's the Championship

Can't remember me keeper having to make a save

One or a few of those. Take your pick.

For an hour I thought we were in control

Their fans on Twitter are still blaming the players.

I know have Bruce as manager sends you a bit loopy or they’re still on the honeymoon stage where you pray everything you’re reading is wrong.

From that forum ..

"It really does look like the Newcastle job finished him off as a manager.

He looked lost tonight and made terrible tactical subs.

His comments after this game will be interesting."

Aye its our fault  It's nothing to do with him being shit. It amazes me how people defend him the way they do.

They just don't get that he's been shit for a long, long time.
