Chelsea 1 - 0 Newcastle United (13/03/2022)

Positives

Despite the goal being arguably partially his fault (it was just a really good goal tho) Dan Burn is immense

We are playing very hard to beat even without Joelinton

Think Bruno was really good

The thing with the red is that an equivalent amount of force and recklessness with a tackle on the ground would have been a red. Yes you need to use your arms to jump, but it’s your responsibility where your body ends up, and he’s led with his elbow into the head of the opponent in a reckless way. Absolutely should be a red.

His first [I think] contribution was a perfect through-ball for Murphy, who mistimed his run. I took that as a sign that he had come on to play for the team.

If that's the limit of your understanding of what being a team player is then have at it man

I think it’s a red but can see the other side. The penalty absolutely not. It was as blatant as you’ll ever see. There were like three separate fouls in it

He fouled him twice with exactly the same leg flick

Wait, VAR didnt even look at the Murphy penalty?

Passing glance, didn't tell the ref to check it.

When they were offside, and would  have got a penalty if he wasn't offside, they scrutinised it for aboot 3 hours in a desperate attempt to claim the pen.
