sunderland in the EFL

They've done that classic thing again of getting way more carried away with things than surely anybody else would, 3wins this time (though it was after only 2 that they were fancying their chances against us and Milan in fairness)  only to get fitting comeuppance to that neursosis in that inimitable style of theirs, losing at home to Cardiff the latest one.

Bit of a shame for them, because other than Vasas, Sporting CP, Swansea, Wrexham, and one League Cup match against Newport, they don't get to play non English teams in competitive matches very often, so these matches against the likes of Cardiff will naturally have a much bigger feel to them.

If you included the Welsh teams, I wonder how many European ties they've played in their history

Before this season, Sunderland has shared a division with a Welsh club on 47 occasions (some seasons more than one club were with them).  So that's 94 matches + 4 Cup Winners' Cup games (I can't be arsed to find out how many FA & League Cup games vs Welsh opposition they've had!).

So we've still played far more European games than them, even if you allow for games vs Welsh teams for them and not for us :)

Making up stuff to get angry at again.

There'll be pages of discussion about strongholds and how all Durham Mags are scum. This will run parallel with a thread praising their supporters in Northumberland.

I see RTG has deleted all the threads regarding our match today again  it's like North Korea over there. Mags win and it's information blackout, never happened.

Apparently their sponsors/advertisers didn't like the bile the Newcastle thread had in it when it was in Pure Football - hence being locked away in a hidden forum.

So there is a line even some mackems will cross when it comes to cash.

Why did they raise the prices for the women's team?

Exactly this, the Lionesses match day revenue  at sol would of dwarfed the shit for brains knackers that inhabit the bob murray flat pack arena, which they’ve still got parts of their flat pack closed and £2.65 for u16s ST cards” the only reason  that it’s £2.65 a game is they are no good doer’s? they would pull in about 21k if not.

Nice to see the lunatic is still a lunatic!

Another good thing about yesterday was them lot would have just been getting into boozers after watching their team lose to a late goal to see Longstaff score followed by another seven doing likewise!

The FEWM must have been off the richter scale!

Already Parsnipped/pretend it didn't happened

Will just have to imagine the descent from 'Dummett, Lascelles Lol' 'that City team will hammer these' 'hawayah (oil money) City' to 'Pep's a disgrace for not playing a strong team', 'wont count if they do win it' and 'NUFC doesn't exit'

Given the reputations of both sides owners and their status as human rights champions, I bet that if you looked back on their forum to before our takeover they would have been rooting for us when we played Man City.

Surely.

RTG Mods: "what was the result? Im going to pretend I didnt watch every minute"

They won.

RTG Mods "To the Online Shame Dungeon! May no-one ever see our pig-ignorance and racism on this match ever again"

(rinse, repeat)

Had to screenshot this beauty before they hide the thread

So he never watched their league cup final against City and their biggest game other than against NUFC in generations? or even the highlights?

Fair play if true, which it obviously isn't
