If that’s true, then that’s really grim for them. They seem to be architects of their own downfall though

The majority of them want him out, why would he put any more money into the club? He'll be looking to exit soon, so let the club service itself with debt against it's assets and not him. If it's to keep the lights on rather than buying players (which the timing would suggest is true) then they are proper fucked.
