Guaranteed he'll be labelled as "shit" and "overpriced" by the usual morons (most of them)

"I think he could be a very expensive failure."

"£55m to be no better off IMO"

"Forest have done well getting that amount out of the Mags. Don’t think he’s a £55 million player at all"

"£55m on Elanga … Dear me fair play to Forest like they’ve rinsed the scum"

And one fairly reasonable comment:

"I think Elanga's decent FWIW, and might suit Howe's style of play as a tireless workhorse. Not really the type of 'next level' signing yous need to go deep in the CL and build on the league finish, though."

Someone dared to say they thought he would improve under Howe and Mod Keith was straight in there saying he doesn't improve players at all.

He reckons Hall and Livramento getting so much better is nowt to do with Eddie and "they have only developed because they got older" [emoji38]

Not the reaction I expected, ive enjoyed reading his posts for ages.

It might be blue-on-blue but you should definitely retaliate with the threat of violence and aggression.

Keith disproves the “only improved because they got older” logic as he is tragically thick.

I've got no problem with them trying to create an identity but there's quite a few UK cities with actual beaches - They're not THE city by the sea.

(according to chatGPT, which I'll assume is correct)

Not sure about them all, but a few of those places are a long way from the beach. Crosby must be about 7 miles  from the City Centre of Liverpool for example and I wouldn’t fancy the walk from Waverley Bridge to Portobello beach!
Not seen anything about it,  but I quite like the City by the sea,  re-brand idea. They’ve some nice bits of coastline to sell. I found out that Whitley Bay was actually called just Whitley until the early 20th century (‘Bay’ added to differentiate from Whitby—a competing spot for tourists). Given the negative connotations (for some) of ‘Sunderland’ maybe a similar name change might help?
I mean apparently, the name grew from  being a ‘Separate Place’ ( land cut asunder) within the village of Bishopwearmouth. So maybe they  could go for names with historical significance, Monkwearmouth north of the river and Bishopwearmouth on the south side. Not the catchiest examples but might help with the optics and to compete for visitors with, say Morecombe Bay, which is larger population-wise but not a city obviously so they have that to sell as well.

There'll be 15 or 20 almost identical threads to comb through before you come across it, and the one it's in will be called "hmmm thoughts on.." or something

Had a good look, there are two posts in the summer transfer thread and about five in the Chelsea thread

Yeah its all in the "NUFC compendium thread" in Parsnip.

It's strangely quiet in there though tbh.  I expected about 40 pages of the bitter jealous cunts going on about how shite Elanga is but there's barely 2 pages in the last 24 hrs

In a thread about Sean Longstaff signing for Leeds, guess who said this ?

"He's Lee Clarke circa 2025 without the goals

Anderson lite.

He'll do well for them in the Championship."

A clue, his name starts with a K

I don't know about the first two comments but I hope the third one is true.

Spells his name wrong, gets the year wrong, mis-remembers him as some sort of goal-machine... top marks Keith, well up to your usual standard. 2/10 you thick cunt.
