Couldn't have said it better myself.

4/11 to go down, as I said earlier they have a squad full of championship level players and about four massive gambles. Apart from Leeds (one player), not one of these players had any other clubs challenging to sign them. They will be playing championship football this time next year along with Burnley and Leeds. As for the money spent, the three clubs relegated last seasons spent similar (Ipswich a lot more).

They've spent £100m+ to move from about 95% certain to about 65% to go down. They've added some decent players and fair play for having a go but the gulf between what they have and what they're going to be up against every week is still huge. Wolves and Brentford look to be the most in danger is the other 17 but I'm sure they'll also add to their squads in the next 5-6 weeks

What makes people confident they, or any of the other two promoted teams can finish above established Premier League teams? Signing a load of players means nothing until they do it on pitch.

That thread is full of their bitterness and desperation. You have the entire bullshit crew in full swing. Even crinkly granny (aka vinegar tits) has emerged again.

I think they're likely to say 'something something Nottingham Forest something'.

Have seen that sentiment else where.

Probably should remind themselves that Nottingham Forest were very lucky to not get relegated two seasons in a row due their scattergun transfer approach post promotion.  The season before last they had the lowest points total of any non relegated team ever.

They also signed a spine with actual English Football Experience - Gibbs White, Henderson, Wood, Neco Williams.

More lies and bullshit, they're trying to say that Gordon has written in his contract, that he immediately gets the same as any top earner at the club [emoji38]. They love their fantasy island over there

How do they know this stuff before we do?

We should replace the local hacks with anonymous knackers from RTG.

Actually, that might not be the worst idea - at least it would be entertaining

They know how to make a signing. We

manage one every two years or so……

They’ve rolled the dice and they’ve had to. I’d be pleased if I was a Sunderland fan they’ve really gone for it. Let’s not pretend we couldn’t have signed all of those players for the same amount of fuss though. It’s a totally different market of player.

Think West Ham could be in for a torrid season.

And Brentford.

Aye he mentioned them and Wolves as being possible strugglers. I just think West Ham look like they could be in a lot of bother this season. Don't think it'll be as cut and dried next season where the 3 promoted teams were cut adrift early doors.
