That screenshot is from the end but there was plenty of empty seats right from the start. 

Maybe they should consider closing the Premier Concourse again and get the fans into those seats that are visible on TV?

Never known a club be out the top flight for so long, have a decent season (as good as they've had for 25years) with as little to no buzz as is around these.

Feels already like its a chore for them to go to these games let alone create any kind of atmosphere like its the 10th season in a row of finishing midtable.

That's because the majority of them are anti-Newcastle fans first and sunderland fans second.

 

They've had their main game of the season at home against us, the rest are exactly what you say, a chore.

My mate at work ahead of their game against Liverpool the week before last.

’I hope we are losing by 2 goals or more or winning by 2 goals or more in the 80th minute so I can go home early’.
