Very little chance of that as far as I can see. Cue Rod… .

They've recruited very well compared to previous promoted teams and there's some poor stagnant sides who haven't invested. They'll be fine imo.

Scored 3 goals though and kept a clean sheet. Possession means absolutely fuck all in the grand scheme of things.

We will see. I've watched the entire game and they've been mostly poor. A better team than West Ham (which is almost all PL teams) puts them away in the first half.

I have no problem giving Sunderland credit, I'm not a very tribal Newcastle fan, but they've not particularly impressed me today. Few headers following corners and a 3rd when West Ham were going gung-ho.

No Potter.

Moyes is doing a good job back at Everton.

I reckon he should have bought longstaffe personally, he’d do well at Everton but sacking him would be harsh.

Agree. Can't judge after one game but you can only beat what's in front of you and they've scored 3 goals and kept a clean sheet today. As I said a few weeks ago I do expect West Ham to be in relegation trouble this season.

Every now & again a club has a sliding doors moment and that last minute winner at Wembley was theirs. If they had lost that game I think they would have been marooned in the Championship for a good few years. As it is, they will very likely stay up as they have their tactics right compared to previous promoted teams. It wont be a pretty watch for their support though.
