Looks like these fuckers are going to have a very good season.

Think they will finish in the playoffs again. They should be buzzing with this start, though.

It’s a bottle job if they don’t do it from this start.

Not really, they are what, a month in. Look at Leicester last year. They still have 42 games to play. Momentum is massive in that league. Have it and you can do something like what they are doing now, lose it and you can fall away massively.

The bewwing and abuse at the SoS will start when they fall back into the playoffs, which is possibly about where they should be, but they'll not realise that and so create such an atmosphere at home that the wheels come off altogether. It's their way.

Outside chance a manager actually manages a full season for them though so there's that.

They seem to be raving about Rigg at the moment.

Seeing that fucking up our transfer business is the hot topic at the moment, I have no idea why we didn’t snap up Rigg this summer and then loan him back to the SMB. Wouldn’t even surprise me if we don’t even try to sign him if he becomes the hottest young property in the game. And this is a lad whose entire family are black & white, including him.

Not like them to get carried away but Chris Rigg is worth 100 million and as good as Rooney was at 17 according to RTG.

Sell him for £100m and replace him with a Ligue 2 player on loan, such is their model.

Whilst I agree there is a percentage of absolute nuggets that follow us, Rigg genuinely is a generational talent. He wont be here very long put it that way, Just have to enjoy him whilst he is.

If he is as good as you lot say, I will be livid if he’s not wearing a black & white shirt if/when he leaves you.

NUFC have tried to sign him in recent seasons but he has chosen to stay at Sunderland. Other clubs have also tried. Understandably he wants to play first team football.

Bellingham (the real one) is a generational talent. Chris Rigg is a Sunderland player in the English Championship.

In fairness, you could have said the same about Bellingham at the same age as Chris Rigg, he was "just a Birmingham player in the Championship".

I also listen to a fair few EFL podcasts, and the majority of the say that Rigg is the player in the whole EFL that has the highest ceiling, and if he carries on his current trajectory he could become an elite player.

You could have, but then we could call hundreds of young players all over the world "generational talents". I mean, that term to me signifies level of future ballon d'or winner. A bit early to suggest Chris Rigg is on that level, innit?
