Si
Caulkin is just so much more eloquent than the rest of them like. It's gutting he's behind a paywall. The dude is legit and should be read by more people.
Twinport53
Surely the incentive to pay is the fact he's eloquent and "legit".

Altamullan
Who's the non-Geordie fella talking a lot during the panel with Louise Taylor? Was it Luke Edwards?

Yorkie
Last panel, man. I think it's Mark Douglas, anyway.
Altamullan
Nahhh, after Luke Edwards - last panel. Steve Wraith (NUFC Legends) George Caulkin (Times) Luke Edwards (The Telegraph) Louise Taylor (The Guardian) Simon Mooney (true faith) Simon Campbell (true faith) Simon Bird (The Mirror) Colin Whittle (NUST) Mark Douglas (The Chronicle) Alex Hurst (true faith) Wallace Wilson (true faith) Don’t know which of remaining aren’t Geordies. Greg
I listened to the whole thing on the drive up to Newcastle last night, really made the first half of the journey go in no time and helped me keep to the speed limit (fuckers have turned on all the cameras on the M1) so set the cruise control at 70. I will make a donation to the foodbank now, and urge anyone else that has listened to do the same.
Guest firetotheworks
Caulkin was in the last bit as well like. Came back for the Barnes stuff.

Greg
Caulkin was in the last bit as well like. Came back for the Barnes stuff. Yes but he has an (albeit relatively posh) Geordie / North Eastern accent.
henke
I seen the podcast was two and a half hours long and thought nah fuck that, ended up listening right through though. : lol: If Mike Ashley has to rubber stamp everything down to buying the jammy dodgers, how does he go on holiday in January? Rafa identifies the striker he wants, we can get him in early January for £20m, what qualifies Ashley to value the kid at £15m?
Colos Short and Curlies
What is the sizing/fit like on the retro tops in the club shop? Thinking of getting the 95 away top
ponsaelius
Why not get a legit one instead of putting money into Ashley's pockets?
Guest
https://www.classicfootballshirts.co.uk/1995-96-newcastle-away-shirt-good-l-345335.html £20 more but it's a genuine one. The 'new' retro ones annoy me without the shirt manufacturer on for some reason.
HaydnNUFC
When did Campo Retro shut down? Great store, that. Didn't have the shirt manufacturer logos on, mind.
WarrenBartonCentrePartin
Why not get a legit one instead of putting money into Ashley's pockets? Or just don't buy it from the club. The ones in the club shops are made by Score Draw, who make them for loads of different clubs. Think the Back Page stock them too. https://www.scoredraw.com/
ponsaelius
I thought the whole point of buying retro shirts was because the quality is better and to avoid putting money into Sports Direct. Seems to completely defeat the purpose seeing all these people wandering around with cheap knock-offs bought from the club shop. I bet Ashley can't believe his luck. I think it's more because they look nice and remind of better times.
