andycap
I'd rather have popey in the sticks rather than an onana type. Pope majority of the time is a corking keeper with his only downside been his distribution.

midds
I'm at the point now where I'm just telling him to launch it down the line or down the middle if he's under any pressure. I get the fact we're trying to play it out and build nice attacks from the back as it's a bit fashionable but he's not up to that technically. He's a great keeper and I'm not having a go but he's really poor with the ball so let's limit that as much as possible and just deal with the second ball, eh? Seems like the more we trust him in our own third the more likely we are to concede. He can still do the sweeper/keeper thing but it's got to go long when it trickles through to him. Ketsbaia
At least he's not Dubravka. At least he's not Dubravka. At least he's not Dubravka.

Lush Vlad
Said in the match thread. It felt noticeable that we were going back to him more often than usual. Hopefully more because Bournemouth forced us to. Rather than by design. No Schar and Trippier in the back 4 will do that, I guess. Anyway. Despite him possibly being the worst keeper with his feet in all of the leagues. He is a top drawer ‘goalkeeper’. His save with his leg today looked routine. But it really wasn’t.
Andy84
Him being in goal = 10 more points at least across the season vs Dubs

Guest
Something just seems off first few games. We knew his kicking was always poor but he's not even taking the crosses that last season we were calling Dubravka out for "not claiming like Pope would" at the moment. Smal
happy for him. Clearly knocked his confidence a bit when he was dropped.
Lush Vlad
Definitely something in his head about that shoulder. Went with two hands and didn’t try and catch it on a weak shot first half. Then went down and looked so awkward for the goal with whatever the fuck he was trying to do I didn’t think his kicking and passing out was as heart attack inducing today. Which was a big plus. But it’s still bad. Hopefully in time. With the likes of Hall, Schar, Trippier and next year, Botman. He won’t need to be on the ball so much. Heron
Was awful today. Two good saves around the 75min mark otherwise our worst player.
Zero
What? I think he has a great game. How many shots he saved?
Aiston
Poor game from him, especially with that big mistake..surely isn't confident in his shoulder and consistently putting us under pressure with his kicking. 63% of his passes weren't successful. The College Dropout
I don’t blame him for the goal. Not a great save in the lead up. Blocked the shot that was going wide or out and Burn blasted it into the net. Poor on the ball as usual. That’s a given.
midds
Awful mistake/decision for their goal, can only assume he's still not sure about going full stretch to turn shots around the post of he can possibly help it. Maybe scared of the landing he'd get? Not sure but he also made 3 or 4 excellent saves too. The mistake will be highlighted but he also kept us in the game too
cubaricho
To be fair to Pope, if Burn doesn't touch the ball it goes wide. Pope made the save.
