Is the success rate in the ballot for the family section any better than the rest of the stadium? Don’t believe the hype. I go for family section every game and have won 3 so far this season. Nucasol
Failed ID checks are canny. Just the 600 banned for touting despite thousands of tickets being up on resale sites for Barcelona…

Ballot success rate way down on what has been claimed previously the club. Given that I have a 0% success rate, maybe I'm one of the accounts being monitored for suspicious acvitiy, given my ongoing need to bash the fuck out of F5. bobbydazzla
More than 35,000 / 70% of the crowd being season ticket holders is slightly worse than I thought it would be. Wonder how many of the 35,000 are 50+ and how many are under 25. And it explains why Wembley was pretty much off limits for members, given the 32,000 allocation. And I've said it before, so I'll say it again. It doesn't matter what they do to stop touting because they have unlimited, unvetted, low cost memberships available all season long. Ban a tout and they'll just buy a new membership and start again. I'm genuinely surprised Hoppy didn't reference in his executive summary that I've only won one ballot in 39 entries. And that was FUCKING BRADFORD. Edited January 12 by bobbydazzla
Superior Acuña
That's a fair few failing away ID checks - considering those not going to box office is effectively a fail too.

bobbydazzla
10 minutes ago, Earp said: Yep - restricting membership numbers is critical They don't even have to restrict the overall membership numbers, just have membership purchase windows July-Aug and then Dec-Jan. So if a tout gets banned, they can't immediately sign up for a new account. It would also largely prevent neutral tourists and away fans from signing up in the weeks before a specific game in order to try and get tickets. Particularly you’d imagine if we got back in the CL.
bobbydazzla
I'm intrigued to see what they do when the Makems tickets go on sale. Because currently, if Uncal Mick buys a membership when the ballot opens, he has exactly the same chance as I do of getting a ticket. I'd heard via an NUFC ticketing person that they were going put a rule in place for the Makems that meant you could only get a ticket if you'd had your membership for a minimum time period and a certain level of ballot entry / purchase history. Will believe it when I see it though. Edited January 12 by bobbydazzla

SteV
8 minutes ago, Earp said: Not really thought it through tbh. Perhaps initially give priority to those who were members pre-takeover Problem being you didn’t need to be a member to buy a ticket then. They’ll never limit membership numbers anyway. It’s like putting a cap on how much your revenue can grow. @bobbydazzla’s suggestion of having a membership purchase window(s), would seem the most obvious way of not stifling revenue, but also trying to address some of the issues unlimited membership causes.
