Absolutely fuckloads of tickets available for the Qarabag home leg. L7 standing has 600 available and there's already plenty around the rest of the ground.

Can't see many people wanting to pay £70+ to watch a dead rubber.

NUFC could get some amazing PR by donating them to local schools, charities etc.

I imagine they’re from the away allocation that Qarabag haven’t taken up, rather than returns after last night.

But agree it will be interesting to see whether they sell or not now.

Yeah, it's the away section where the 600 are.

But there's already 100+ available lower down in the ground. So I can't see the 600 seats being of much interest to punters, especially at £70.

And if they drop the price, people who already paid £70+ will boot off about it being unfair.

It is half term like. So might get a few parents prepared to shell out if they can get 2 or more together, which they can’t normally.

They've fucked up massively there by not putting those seats in with the ballot when so many people got knocked back. If that block is totally empty you can guarantee that the 4 blocks past that as you get nearer to the screen are also currently empty as well (fair enough they'd need to keep 1 block back for any away fans travelling) but Leazes L7 is going to be completely deserted. They'll remain empty now unless they do something like what you've just said.

Anyone got any experience of asking for a refund? Does it go as an account credit?

On balance going on my own and/or keeping one seat empty won't be as good as spending the £140 on the next game.

Aye, I believe they just credit the refund amount to your account.

Look to be around 800 available in L7. Be interesting to see what they do if they don't sell out. Will they go on open sale and if so how will folk that have had to fork out membership fee to buy tickets feel about that.

They should just say "we've got a load more availability than we thought due to Qarabag hardly taking any tickets, so we've passed them on to the NUFC Foundation who will distribute them for free amongst the various groups they work with"

The value of the positive PR would outweigh any lost ticket revenue. And some less fortunate people would get to experience an NUFC game gratis.

And only a proper cunt would complain about tickets going to a charitable foundation.

Tbh, I think they probably should.

Would seem churlish to prevent someone that hasn’t got a membership from getting one, if members have had first dibs and there’s still some leftover.

Didn’t think you could get refunds if just bought via membership? Is it not just ST’s?

Dunno, there's an FAQ under home tickets that suggests you can get a refund if you can no longer go, but obviously the website content is poor and doesn't really explain properly.

Pretty sure members can get (credit) refunds, but others will know better than me.

On a separate point another ballot success for the missus. Barcelona, Benfica and Qarabag easy at £70 a pop. Strange that she has had no success in all the other ballots unless it’s a last minute “here’s an opportunity for Level 7 that nobody else wanted “.

Was 3k in the queue.  Zero tickets available for the mackems apart from Youth and that absolute fucking rip off hospitality.

Grifters at large this morning, and the club definitely holding some back for hospitality, without a doubt.  Never seen it before with a 3k queue number and not a single ticket available.

Said this in the mackem ticket thread, but for the highest profile games, the general sale feels like it’s becoming a waste of time.

Maybe they might be better off just going ballot only for these games?

I’m speaking as a ST holder rather than a member like, so not really my place to say, but feels like general sales for the likes of the mackems and Barca (have those two ever been put together in the same sentence…) just end up causing mass frustration, versus very little positive outcomes?

It's just a complete shambles really. Read a few cases on X this morning of people getting 3 digit queue numbers so assuming they were guaranteed a ticket only to get on the site and there's none left. No doubt there'll be no shortage of them from the usual places though.

Said it the last 2 years that I wouldn't renew mine and the bairns memberships and ended up changing my mind and getting them but this is definitely the last season for us. Haven't applied for a ticket since Man City in November so tbf I don't need one now anyway.

Was 795 in the queue and nowt available when I got in

Would be nice of the club to explain how it's possible for that to happen.

Well baring in mind a lot of the 794 in front of you would have been multiple devices it's fair to assume that there was less than 500 tickets up for grabs this morning. Did they make more tickets available for ballot or is there something more sinister at play here because there's clearly something not right here.

Also the mackems were given a reduced allocation of 2,500 instead of the usual 3,200 so there should have been around 700 more seats up for grabs for starters (they only took 5 blocks).

Do they not blank a wider area between our separate support?

Still wank, the numbers being quoted above.
