I would imagine at 30 million they think a work permit is possible straight away. Also, Maddison going to the World Cup I think would maybe scupper any chances we have of signing him, assuming he plays and does well ofcourse. Just a bit greedy I guess. But even going back to Ashley we signed Cisse when 7th and it kicked us on to having a chance of finishing in the top 4 on the final day.
