Was the Taylor report passed through parliament as an official Act?  ???

Football Spectators Act 1989, been amended/repealed a few times since too. Could happen but can see serious objections from Merseyside.

I've just had a quick look on rawk because I'd love the scousers feelings on safe standing. I think they'd be mostly for it but I'm basing that on God knows what.

Even if the average fan would still prefer to sit I can't fathom why you wouldn't want a safe standing area at your club.

That Hillsborough Support Group spokesperson calling it a 'backwards step'. In what? Providing justice for those who lost their lives that day? How does it? The proposal actually represents progress iyam.

Obviously the incident had enormous ramifications in terms of how live football is viewed, but I think an appropriate length of time has passed to start disassociating the tragedy with future football.

It's not like the attendances would increase.

Step backwards despite Liverpool fans known to stand at away games for example.

Surely they more than anyone realise that terraces aren't the problem, but piss poor policing and safety measures being ignored. It's what they've been fighting to prove for years. Bizzare.

Yep - really odd statement. Also, and I don't wanna sound insensitive but what further justice are they seeking? I thought the truth came out once and for all at the end of the Golding Inquest?

I was just thinking that the Premier League could do with more money too.

Well, the evidence does show that it is feeding into cheaper ticket prices at long last.

Think the bans for recreational use in comparison to what you get for performance enhancing isn't right.

I don't think being banned at all makes any sense tbh. The club should decide if they want to do anything.

People can obviously argue that it 'brings the game into disrepute' but that's obviously daft.

Been asked this but I'm stumped - anyone got any ideas?

Who am I?

At some stage during my career (past or present) at club level and/or international I am or have been teammates with:

Mignolet

C.Ronaldo

Gerrard

Ozil

Milner

Chicarito

Muntari

Pique

Hart

Gyan

I have been managed by: Roy Hodgson

Amongst other things I have won:

Premier League

FA Cup

Is Gerrard on drugs? Surely someone better than MK Dons would take a punt on him.

I should say fair play to him, if he's prepared to go there and earn his stripes but it all seems a bit odd.

Fyp.

In all seriousness if he's going for that job, earning his stripes and learning the ropes then all respect to him.  It makes a nice change from the likes of Giggs who think their playing career means they deserve a job at the top right from the off.
