You can't just conclude the guy is a racist man, not based on here say.

Here say from two different people, an 80k 'shut up' payment and today sacking him for something they've known about for 3 years when it's getting close to being challenged more thoroughly. Hmm.

Their statement wreaks of lies ffs. Apparently the FA have only just found out the full details of the events in 2014? Fuck off. A bunch of bent bastards protecting each other.

There needs to be a full investigation into football's governing bodies both here in the UK and UEFA and FIFA like. Who the people are, how they got where they are. Who's calling the shots, etc. The game is going to the dogs.

Basically he did some racist banter with some england players, and one of the players complained, now at this point it could probably all have been walked back with some apologies and some promise to do a racial sensitivity course or something, but then the FA contrived to cover it up, make everyone involved sign NDAs or else and then have the complaining players sidelined. Then basically it comes out anyway, it turns out the FAs investigation was, shock, totally inadequate, a bunch of MPs who have been saying (rightly) the FA is a shambles threaten to investigate themselves so now the FA have remembered they have a report he shagged some of the players at his old club so fired him as if this was new information to them in a desperate bid to look decisive.

Basically the FA has seen the Brexit department and thought HOW DARE THEY TRY AND OUT SHAMBLES US

A "Super White Army" banner was covered up during an England football match after a picture of it was shared online by one of the team's top players.

The sign at Tranmere Rovers' ground was obscured by the FA for the Lionesses' World Cup qualifier on Tuesday, hours after Lucy Bronze shared it online.

Her post received criticism and praise.

Tranmere Rovers Supporters' Club said it did not know why it was covered, adding it was "not remotely racist" and referred to their team's shirts.

England's Lionesses had been embroiled in an ongoing row before the match over discrimination allegations made against the team's manager Mark Sampson, who has since been sacked over an unconnected matter.

The FA confirmed it took down the banner at Prenton Park but said it would be making no further comment.

Supporters' club chairman Mark Bartley said the banner had been on display at the ground since the summer, but the words had "been our motto for years" and the decision to cover it "was a one-off [which] will have no impact on us".

"We are proud of our club colours, as are all fans up and down the country... and will continue to use the chant at our games going forward," he said.

"It is not remotely racist - it is simply a reference to the white shirts that our team wear."

Tranmere Rovers FC declined to comment.

Forlan on the Cavani/Neymar stuff

"Cavani deserves respect, he's been scoring for years & taking penalties. Neymar wouldn't have done it to Messi. He was like a boy annoying him. A problem, those things happen on all teams. What doesn't make sense is Alves didn't give the ball to Cavani but to Neymar as if he was his bitch."
