He talks some shite.

He said the other day if Rooney was to leave to play abroad, he hopes he'd get a standing ovation not only from Man Utd fans, but also from fans from all around the country for what's he's done for English football.

Is there a modern comparison to a Nobby Solano type player? Guess Robert was similar. Pretty luxury. Solano had no pace, couldn't beat a man. But excellent delivery. Short or long range passing. Movement. Fairly skilful.

Nobby wasn't a luxury player, he did a job at right back for a while and wouldn't shirk his defensive duties playing on the wing either. He was just a quality player, technically superb and a really intelligent footballer.

Ray Wilkins 'on one' about the lack of chances for English youngsters;

'You're not telling me that Batshuayi would score 20 goals in the Championship.' Er, he probably fucking would Ray.

"I feel very sorry for these young men"

Err, why? Because they are the ones who sign on the dotted line. If they really wanted to play football and become the best player they possibly could become then they'd leave the comfort of their top 4 club, like Lukaku did. Guess he doesn't count because he's foreign.

The whole 'English lads hard done by' thing, whether it's managers or players, has quickly become the most cringeworthy thing doing the daily football rounds. Just stfu, you are talking absolute BULLSHIT. The argument is so obviously based on nothing, in fact there are libraries of facts and statistics that point to the opposite of what you're saying. Embarrassing cunts.

British players and managers need to start going abroad if they want opportunities.  Our football culture has such an island mentality.

He is a criminally underrated player - really made that team tick with his intelligence.  Such a clever footballer.
