Yeah definitely but there is also a difference in trying to force a move and then kicking off if the move doesn’t happen. I reckon this one gets done now tbh so probably won’t matter. It's the whole reason clubs employ DOFs, to make sure there is some long term planning in place. Even without that, Watford will have an abundance of options, they are one of the top championship sides, have decent budgets in comparison to others. Obviously, I’m not saying they’ll always be right, as the source of their info could potentially be ‘making up’ what they tell them to suit a particular agenda (especially if it’s an agent). But if you think Romano’s just made up that we’ve put in a third bid and guessed at some numbers for no real reason other than a bit of clout, you’re crazy.
