Not going to post the link as the bloke is decent and very genuine, will just attract the usual itk abuse on here.

But he’s usually very on the money.

I hope it involves bonesaws me.

Maybe so.

If he does, and i do think the club are doing this with current state of play, we have to extract the maximum £ possible.

Literally 9 times out of ten with big deals like these, if the players wants the move it will happen. You couldn’t begrudge Isak that either.

There's a distinction between being open to it and pushing for it. If he pushes for it, you're right.

That’s what I meant really, you put it better

He's got three years left on his contract, is a very bright lad and is loved by the fans - I would be massively surprised if he was willing to burn that to risk trying to push through a move that has no guarantee of happening. I don't see him going on strike or going public, I think there will be a conversation behind the scenes and either a gentleman's agreement or new contract with clause for next summer, which is fair on both parties.

I think ultimately if Isak wants to go then it’ll happen sadly

Think that depends on how much he would want to go.

Im pretty sure he is very happy here and i looking forward to the new season with his buddy Elanga.

Really doubt that he would try to push through at transfer even if he was interested in joining Liverpool.

I honestly think they're bricking it in case we get Ekitike and keep Isak. They don't want Ekitike as their main striker, whereas he wouldn't be coming here as our main striker. I'll be very surprised if Liverpool bid for Ekitike, it's more likely that either Chelsea (if they get rid of Jackson) or Man U try their luck. It's important we try and seal the deal in the next couple of days or look at other options.

They probably just want to threaten us, like "if you don't sell us Isak then we need to go for Ekitike"..

Call their bluff, and even if they do go for Ekitike, we should try our best to get him.

The only reason he would go is for the money. Liverpool can probably offer him a much heftier pay package than we can, but if Yasir can do something in this regard then would love to think we can match the wages for our truly world class players, PSR or no PSR.

Liverpool will have plenty of dough when they sell Salah to Saudi next summer for 100m+. Question is will they decide to splurge some of that this summer.

Would be ideal if Yasir put the mockers on by threatening an embargo on PIF doing business with LFC.
