That’s the natural inference to draw from it, and likely correct, especially in light of not going on the tour. I’m not trying to cope or anything, you’d just think if Hope had any basis for saying “Isak demanding move” or something like that, he would have run with it. It's a delicate one though, as by forcing him to stay you run the risk of (a) affecting other players in the squad, and (b) putting off new signings who may see the club as a stepping stone.

I think he'll go for around £125m if an offer of that magnitude comes in.

He is not in IT man - and he's not exactly poorly paid.  If the club gave Isak £300k it would turn the heads of other players in the squad questioning their worth.
