Bit of a shit show of late. Our lack of success in the transfer market clearly had a knock on effect on Isaks confidence. Hopefully other players don’t start angling for a move. I didn’t think being bought by the PIF would mean we morphed into the next Brighton.

Disappointing news, but can’t begrudge him really. Timing is poor.

The money could be transformative I suppose.

We will be fine.

Course you can begrudge him, it’s extremely unprofessional.

Cutthroat is making the decision to let him go tomorrow. Holding onto to him now out of spite is counter productive. The case study is Liverpool and coutinho

I don't think we will hold onto him. I think he'll be gone soon.

Really dispiriting stuff, this. It's sounding more and more inevitable that there's no way to resolve this that ends up with him playing for us again.

If he goes, it has to be abroad. Preferably to Saudi where we can forget about him. I'll be so disappointed in him if that's where he ends up, but I'm already disappointed.

But the point is, for all we might do 'something' to lessen the impact of the rules (as opposed to nothing, as you put it (and which I disagree with)), the cartel clubs are still the greatest beneficiaries of the rules. The unfairness still exists regardless.

Take a points hit? Sorry like but it's absolutely deplorable that we should have to consider that whilst those clubs on the other side of the drawbridge continue all but risk-free.

Do something, do nothing, it's still unfair and where the blame should be more-or-less entirely focused.

I spose at this stage, with this squad and the schedule, we have no chance of making CL this year, we should have broken the rules. Make a real show of it, get relegated and keep as many on by gifting them oilfields named after them.

Naaa, his agent it just not particularly good, must players get the move without pretending to be injured and having the media blurt out statements like "explore a move"
