No way am I trawling through 300 pages to answer that, I'll end up burning my roast potatoes.

Aside from being a heathen for eating roast potatoes this late on a Sunday 😅 you don't need to trawl 300 pages.

Suspect most of us who want the cunt gone would also be happy if he stayed a year and got us 20-30 goals, was just curious if the quotes you'd given had also said the same. Enjoy your dinner, just mopped up my curry 😋

What makes you think he will be a strop? Apparently based on some shite leaked about his contract being pulled, he’s been in a strop all season and that really held us back.

It's the World Cup next year, how long could he afford to be in a strop for anyway? He'll need to show his quality even to keep other clubs interested.

The fact he couldn’t face sitting in the stand and Glasgow and the fact he hasn’t gone on the pre season tour. Pretty good factors I’d suggest.

please don’t tell me you buy the injury bollocks ?

I've always found the "strops" and "tantrums" as mostly an extension of fans imagination, thinking these players are as emotional about clubs and football as we are.

the most likely scenario is that Isaks agent called him up and said " Premier League Champions Liverpool have out reached and they want to double your wages. are you interested?"

"yes"

"Ok well Newcastle dont want to sell, so we need to apply some pressure. lets sit out this tour and see if they can iron something out with Liverpool."

"ok"

the idea that Isak is in his house fuming murmuring about how much he hates Eddie Howe for not letting him go, and how he will never play for Newcastle again are probably wide of the mark.

not saying it doesn't happen with players, but most of the time its simply a numbers game and its all being handled amicably behind the scenes. I highly doubt Isak doesn't carry on business as usual in a few weeks if he stays.

Easy for the wife if I can't be arsed to drive 😂

I'd eat curry every day to be fair, but then I'd also eat a roast dinner every day, a balance of effort needed and quality delivered

Tbf there is some credible sources that have said he has a picture of Eddie Howe on his fridge and he's just been kicking oranges at his face all week and then running into his living room doing that back there hand celebration he does.

let’s just sit out the pre season tour  ok let’s not call it a strop, let’s call it unprofessional and disrespectful to not only the fans over there but to the club and his teammates

We simply cannot sell him to a PL side. It's as simply as that.

Yep, tell him he can go but we want to win the league so won't sell to a rival. So he can go to a bottom half prem team or abroad. If he went to Real Madrid or Barca I would be happy for him.

But we will.

Sliding doors moment and will define whether PIF really have ambitions for us to challenge. Cause if they do - they need to tell Liverpool to do one.

It was always him, he was going to go, felt like he was bigger than us once he hit his stride, hit the form he’s in.

Shame we have to lose him, but full confidence the money will be reinvested and we’ll be fine. Loved having him here, but was never that attached to him.

Exactly this. We wouldn't be the first club to do this either - see Bale and RM

All seems very inevitable this now, there may be a first bid rejected but it won’t be a not for sale. There’ll be some negotiation and the deal will be £130 million ish plus add ons. We’re losing an absolute superstar and I’ve got no confidence whatsoever in our ability to sign what we need. Feels very grim at the minute
