His agent has 158 clients according to Transfermarkt with most of them having little value. Isak at 120m represents almost a third of the total value so you can see why he is so desperate for Isak to move. He and Martinez are the only players who are going to give him a windfall.

He's played this absolutely fucking brilliantly like. Completely threw the wheels off his club's window, I bet the rest of the team love him.

Do wonder if the little weasel will continue to hide away once his boss and his teammates are back in the country.

Course he will, there’s an absolutely massive road back for him into the team. It’s done with the fans, he’ll never be loved again even if he stays longer than a year but the question is How Howe integrates him back into the team. It’s a tough one as he has zero competition and even if he gets competition Howe always eases people in slowly

Fans would lap it up if he stayed, especially if he signed a new contract.

Nah, no chance. Some idiots might, but anyone who’s paid any attention shouldn’t ever give him the time of day

Downie was saying on SSN earlier the club expects him back on Monday when the rest of the team is back.

Anyone in football can rehabilitate themselves if they play well IMO, there’s always a way back. Maybe never exactly the same level of love but we would definitely be able to support him if he put the work in.

Of course we would always be suspicious when he’s injured or tired etc, so it wouldn’t be easier.

The whole ground would be jumping if he smacked one in against Liverpool.

Not that I think it will happen, but there's always a way back if a player wants it.

Not saying people wouldn’t celebrate a goal. I’d celebrate a goal because of what it means for the team. I certainly won’t ever celebrate him again

Rooney handed in a transfer request to go to their local rivals, players get rehabilitated all the time. This narrative that there’s no way back for him only serves Liverpool.

At the end of the day, the guy scored the goal that won us a cup.

Additionally if this move fails and he signs for us long term, he has a chance of breaking Shearers record. There is a high possibility that the fans will take to him again. I mean look at Gerrard at Liverpool after wanting to sign for Chelsea, Liverpool fans now deny that was even the case.

Smacks one in then does the whole meek 'apology' celebration to their fans, the fucking cunt
