Ok, on that basis unless something drastically changes that isn't possible.

As I've said, the gap isn't closing financially and without getting to at least parity we are food.

I…think we agree?

I know it seems counterintuitive to argue that we should sell our best players as a means of moving forward, but that’s clearly the case with Isak (and something we have to consider with all our purples). Unless something drastic changes, we’re getting one more season out of Isak at most and the calculus necessarily changes.

Is this Liverpool's version of "we tried" by the way?

Bet they regret signing Ekitike now. Could have stepped aside for him, fair chance we'd have potentially accepted something close to what they bid for Isak if we'd already had Ekitike on the books.

I just think we need to consider him as 'medium term injured' and get on without him. Sign the players we were needing to sign anyway and continue to say no to them. If he had an acl or whatever we'd just have to get on with it and make do until he was available again, we'd survive, wouldn't be pretty but we'd get by.

Just giving up because we're fed up of it is giving them isak on a plate much cheaper then necessary. Fuck them, make them jump through hoops for a month. String the cunts along, move the goalposts every day, fuck it

We are going to buy a striker anyway. It's not like we should be sweating on his availability THAT much.

I understand very little about this whole saga, unless it was just initiated by Isak's agent and Liverpool have jumped in. The planning is non-existent.

£110m is a joke like, if true [emoji38] Like knocking on your neighbours door offering him £30k for his £50k car he's already told you isn't for sale.

And your neighbour is a buck toothed, shell, suit wearing, sticky fingered, thick gold chained wearing, Warthog

They very well might still get Isak, but they'd 100% be getting him I'd we'd signed Ekitike.

All I want to know by September 1st is what level of mug we are.

Your canny I would expect nothing less than agreement

Joking aside, I think that even if we were to sell our players and essentially come Brighton we still can't bridge the gap as replacing your best players over and over isn't feasible. We have to move up the value chain and make ourselves more attractive more commercial activities new stadium new training.

Proper buy in and investment from the ownership is the only way.
