I never really warmed to him and felt he always saw us as a stepping stone, but I didn’t see anything in his attitude that made me think he’d pull stunts like he’s done the last couple of weeks

For some its a genuine betrayal like your going to events and family gatherings and she poses for pictures all loved up all the while she is banging Bill from accounts looking back to those moments you wouldn't feel or look back on them the same way.

If he leaves now, at the end of the day, dude will have given the club 2.5 amazing seasons, a major trophy, and somewhere in the neighborhood of 150m in cash.

 

The ending will have been a little messy but for me at least, he can go with my blessing.

nah I’m harsher than that. He’s made our pre season and summer an absolute circus. We’ve had to put so much time and resource in to looking for a replacement when we should be getting a centre half or midfielder. He’s used dirty tricks to get that price down and he’s betrayed Eddie, his team mates and the fans. 
 

he was great for us aye but he’s fucked it. Also I think I could handle him going to any other club but Liverpool they are cunts to a man

The biggest statement from the club now is to keep him on improved terms and pair him with Šeško. 

As great a signing Šeško would be, it doesn’t improve us if Isak leaves which is the harsh reality.

Selling him for anything under 150 million and particularly to Liverpool should be out the question.

If we sign Sesko, we will sell Isak but we absolutely wont shift on the fee.

 

If we want 150m id bet a fair bit Liverpool will have to reach the 140 mark for us to consider it.

 

This is a once in a generation player for Liverpool and they will find the money to do the deal, even if it means that next summer they dont spend much.

 

From our point of view, we just need to make sure the squad is stronger post-Isak, even if our striker cant be.
