Do you think he is pissed off that we were asking him to play with a slight injury at the end of last season.

I’m not convinced he was even that injured. He won the cup and thought job done imo. Knew this Liverpool bid was coming

Didn't he miss the Sweden games  because of an injury?

Yep, but let the narrative be it wasn't because he was injured after playing through discomfort in Everton game, it was because he couldn't be fucked in Everton game, knew if we lost we could (and should've really) missed out on UCL which would've made his move to Liverpool easier. Then pulled out of Sweden squad so he could thrash out a move to Liverpool.

He also missed the Sweden internationals at the end of the season.

He did but if he’s half arsed it since March to avoid injury he’s hardly gonna go for 2 end of season international games when I huge move could be round the corner. If he gets injured for Sweden his move is fucked

I genuinely think you've lost your head over this. Constant posts about how Isak is definitely leaving and interpreting everything in the most negative light. It's incessant.

He will have to stay now. If he's unhappy about it, he can ask Liverpool why they signed Ekitike and denied us our replacement for him.

you know what, there is still a scenario where Ekitike is part of a swap deal for Isak

Yeah that really settled it for me. An obvious low key celebration showing his outmost respect for his future employer

Not sure it was that low key. I think LFEE was implying what this place will be like when he scores the winner against Liverpool in a few weeks.

Unless I’m being whooshed all round.

It might sound like I'm huffing glue, but if there's any silver lining to this, it's that Isak's seen the club make clear and consistent efforts to sign replacements and help facilitate the move he wants. 12 months might feel like a life time, but I think with a bit of Eddie 'High Performance' Howe charm, we might be able to get to next summer and then let him go wherever he wants.
