Just watched the Charity Shield match in Lanzarote. Purposely wore my Newcastle top to start a conversation. Sure enough I was told we shouldn't keep Isak against his will. I then mentioned the fact that Gerrard asked to leave for Chelsea but he was threatened with a knee capping.

That was a conversation ender.

Surprised they let Mini Club watch the football, normally it’s just face painting and singing along to Choo Choo Wa

You're a better man than me. I saw the cup game being mentioned once on Sky Sports News and just turned the tv off.

I've haven't watched Sky Sports since this whole Isak thing kicked off...was it 3wks ago? The transfer countdown with those two bellends that seem to pause after every word while talking is infuriating.

Pathetic isn't it?

I've been offline for a day and a bit, is it true that he's went on strike? If this is true I hope the owners feel the same way as me. Just write off any potential sale money and let him train on his own for 3 years. Bowing down to his commands makes us look incredibly weak.

If he's still on strike after a year, his value goes significantly down, bringing in a host of buyers (but he cant pick Liverpool, that cunt ship has sailed).

Still being a baby after 2 years then he's not worth a lot, I'd loan him out to my Scottish team for a year.

Going on strike doesn't afford him any more options. He's signed a contract. So he can waste 3 years of his life,or spend one year playing for us then moving on.

One thing is for sure, we cant give in to him. He's an entitled little shit that deserves nothing after the way he's treated us.

We should only release him after a year if he signs for anybody other than Liverpool.

That’s the thing with Liverpool, they will actually feel they need Isak, especially to retain the PL and go far in the CL. They don’t want him for shits and giggles. They’ve lost 3 forwards, Salah is going to AFCON so their depth isn’t brilliant.

This idea we should be reducing our price man. What would Tony Bloom, or Parish or Levy do? Seems to me it should be increasing not going the other way.  Fleece them man

Tony Bloom has sold at every opportunity.

Parish would sell at the right price at the right club, but in all fairness they sold Olise to Bayern instead of an English side, he also sold Zaha abroad (the 2nd time). Levy wouldn’t sell, I think he would used too, but he held on to Kane for years and sold him at the right time to Bayern. He also kept a hold of Son until he was past his usefulness.

He’s been so badly advised. That must be a part of him who is staring to question what he has done. I bet he wasn’t imaging this circus.

Nahh, I think he's genuinely an absolute c*nt as well. He just managed to hide it for a while. Don't think he gives a single fuck about us or what we've done for him. He was bored trying for us after the cup win.

I can't remember a first team regular at our club who's apparently so toxic.

There's only so far bad advice can take you. You've got to WANT to actually act like a prick as well. He's the one doing all this, his agent isn't puppeting him onto a plane to go train with Sociedad.

Depends what his agent has actually said to him. I’m not excusing his behaviour at all but if his agent has led him down the garden path in terms of Liverpool not offering what they said they would/should be offering and then he’s already manufactured a situation then it’s one of those things isn’t it. The agent looks a twat, he’s made his client look a twat and Liverpool definitely look like twats because they’re mouth is writing cheques that their knob can’t cash.

Ironically the only person coming out of this with an enhanced reputation is Eddie because he’s shown he’s got massive bollocks here. Hasn’t panicked, has sent Isak to the naughty step publicly with a smacked arse, hasn’t agitated for a replacement - which could encourage the Scouse twats further. Handled it pretty well imo.

I'll settle for apologizing to Howe and the players. We can all happily part ways with him next summer after he does his job.

Yup tell him he has to play well enough for a club to stump up a decent fee. Win-win-win (because I win too for having successfully negotiated this).

Wish he'd stfu like, every day it's a different, contradictory story.

His 2nd post says that we don’t believe that there are 2 suitable strikers left on the market, and don’t believe that Liverpool would even bid £150m.
