New Scouse narrative "hE isn't sAfE tO wALk iN nEwCasTle city cEnTre. FrEE IsAK!"

They are vindictive enough to walk away a try and get him half price in January. Seems from press reports Isak is just as Vindictive to sit out til then too. Hopefully we find a suitor outside the PL to ship him off to this window. Seems best case scenario.

I would get a Saudi team to bid £160 million for him and accept it see what Liverpool do.

It’s a shame we’ve exhausted most if not all replacement options. Would love to sell him and buy 3 or 4 top quality signings with the money

With so little time left, and clubs knowing how much he went for, we'd get absolutely rinsed.

They must think our fans are as hysterical as them, the rabid raging twats that they are.

I hate the way Craig Hope spends half his videos telling people how he wrote Isak was unhappy at the start of last season - he goes on and on and on about it.  Did he really?  I don't recall reading anything of the sort.

I typically stay away from football YouTube so I have no idea what these journalists actually look like. Wandered my way into one Craig Hope video by mistake, and now I’ll continue staying away from football YouTube forever.

Keep it coming. The facts are he’s faked an injury, he’s gone on strike, he’s saying he won’t play for the football team he’s contracted to on £130k+ wages and he’s done everything in his power to try to force a move through a scorched Earth approach that is really only fitting of being described as sociopathic behaviour. He can be as scared as he likes, I’ve heard we’ve got good security in our Premier League 2 team. Hopefully a year with them can help bring his fears down a bit

He's actually one of the more reasonable ones, you should see some of the fan content.

 what an epic tale this is turning out to be

This is the sort of thing that ends up with him having a breakdown, becoming a world class barista with a big hipster beard at the Grey Street Costa and staying there for decades before somebody rediscovers him and his story in 2060 and makes a documentary

Still preferable to him going to Liverpool I reckon

Wish we had the wherewithal to totally Soup Nazi him and his agent - don't want to play for us? No playing for the next three years. We will pay you, but no bonuses, no media, you won't get any endorsement money, and you won't be allowed to leave until your contract is over. Have fun being a 29-year old hasn't played for three years.

Yep, send him into hibernation for three years. After that he can have his move to Liverpool on a free transfer. That is if they'll still want him at that point.

One thing throughout this unless I've missed it. Not a single media outlet mentioning how PSR is dictating a lot of this. How PSR is stopping us being able to pay Isak £250k-300k a week, or pay the big fees for players to give him the team mates he feels can help him fulfill his ambitions.

Where PSR has been mentioned, it's been about how brilliantly Liverpool, Manchester United and Chelsea are navigating it, and the other hapless cretins in the league need to buck up.

Aguero for example was at City for 3 years before PSR began. They already had the wages, the money spent that had them at the very top before PSR kicked in. If PSR was already in place, they might have been able to attract someone like him, but the chances are City would have been in the same boat as us 3 years later. It's wank.
