I mean howe would have just said something like "that's an internal matter and we're going to keep it that way" and you wouldn't have any more information anyway

He may well have done, but the question should have been asked.

He also knows the person and situation better than anyone. If he thinks that’s the best position to take to make some progress who are we to judge?

Aye that's fine, I trust Howe.

Still allowed to wonder about what's going on.

My initial thoughts were that he was saying he could dictate whether he goes to Liverpool, which I don't agree with.  Then I thought he may have meant Isak can dictate whether he reintegrates with the team, which is probably right.

Spent the afternoon on the train up from London to Edinburgh. Stag do on my carriage featured (presumably) the stag in a full Liverpool kit with Isak on the back. They got off at Newcastle.

Wish him a fun weekend!

That's actually quite good tbf

I mean Ramos is an obvious solution on so many levels if PSG are willing to trade and give us some cash, and he's willing to come.

Howe's magic could really improve his game. He's a very intelligent player.

How do you know he's intelligent? Has he been on jeopardy or something. 😂

Disagree he should have been fined the minute he refused to go on the tour, and then absconded to his former club to train Both will be breaches of contract. Stop pussy footing about with hm and hit him where it really hurts.

I want him to stay (because equal alternatives don't really exist AND we'll have stood up to the dippers) so I'd give him as much rope as he wants to hang himself, if he's still here 2/9 and is STILL is taking the piss, that's when you hammer him.

No, he should be hammered for what he's already done and doesn't matter if he stays or not. As I said completely disagree with you

Transfermarkt say pewl have spent 334 million and sold 196 million (euros) this window. No net transfer spend last year and with them generally making mad bank they can still spend.

A sensitive subject, but I imagine they’ll get insurance payout for Jota too.

Sky Sports: His club are in a good position to stick to their position, he has 3 years left on his contract, they don’t want to sell, and if they do sell it will be for a value above his current market value, I really don’t see him leaving this summer.

They were talking about Baleba of Brighton.

Fking wankers.  Go bust ya c**ts

If I somehow became Jeff Bezos rich, I’m 100% spending £10bn to buy them and run them down to non-league.

I’d do everything but officially shut the club down, I’m talking ground sharing with Tranmere, managers and coaches gone, all the best youth players sold, then the ones left are the ones who play. All their first team sold, skeleton coaching and academy crew, Steven Evans given a 15 year manager contract. Fully burn the fucking club and leave them no room to ever recover.
