Eddie doesn’t even need to get him back into the team as a main guy. We’ve got a guy for that in the league now. Isak at worse can play in UCL, where if he’s self centred, he should be up for because performing well in Europe gets Real Madrid, PSG etc. all come back sniffing in January.

If we let target sit on the bench all season on £100k a week we can let isak, I don't believe we need to sell him this window for finances, we have spent £200m but I don't believe the club is in that much of a financial issue at this point in the cycle for this to have to happen.

 

We have champs league money plus sponsorship, and we have offloaded Deadwood.

 

I think we sell next summer for £100m and push on from there.

There are zero examples of a player keeping their strike going past the end of a transfer window.  The closest is Tevez, but his little drama started post the window and was an on field falling out.

 

Either one of the selling or buying team caves on the price or the want away player comes back and plays as well as normal, as if it never happened.

I’ve got no issue with Isak going for less than the mythical asking price, he has engineered a position within the club where his future here looks untenable.

 

We need to move on from him and fans need to find peace with the club and the position they have taken when he is sold.

 

He shouldn’t be sold without a replacement coming in though.

He could remain persona non grata and we tout him around every team in Europe to flush out some interest for Jan or next summer

15 years of people gagging to give their money to Mike Ashley says otherwise.  

 

Players have literally threatened to sue their clubs during transfer dramas and come back with no issues from the crowd once they started putting the ball back in the net.

If we were to keep old out and Liverpool don’t pony up it could damage the scouse game plan. Whenever it is whether it’s this window, Jan or next summer illl be glad to see the back of him.
