For all those critical of ownership, what did you want them to do? Keep Isak for a year and still get less money next year (and it would have likely been 110m then) and risk having a sulky cunt in the squad?

The criticism cant be for selling, it has to be for whether they get another striker.

I'm critical because:

1) they sold to a league rival, which is completely incongruent to their stated aims.

2) they sold below their stated value. Even Brentford and Wolves have shown more backbone than that.

3) we've sold him before a second striker is through the door. We're going into the final day of the market with £130 million in our pocket and a decent liklihood we're going into the season with one, unproven striker up top.

I think its pretty clear that our fans are annoyed, rightly annoyed and me trying to bring the positivity at this moment isnt going to work, so im going to bow out.

However, you TCD and your ability to turn up like fucking Batman to the Bat signal at any sign of negativity is ridiculous. Nowhere to be seen when things are going well.

You've got this theory about the club being poorly run, fine, but you also thought we had a shit manager until he won us a cup.

It’s not a theory mate. We’ve been a shit show behind the scenes for over a year. There’s evidence of that.

We don’t have a CEO or DOF. The last DOF is a primary architect in this Isak debacle and had Howe out in public behaving out of character.

You can call me negative but go into any of the player threads. I’ve not been harsh on any of the lads. I believe in the manager with all my spirit. And I still back him to make this all work somehow.

I have you bulleted reasons why I’m disappointed in the transfer. You didn’t respond to any but made a personal attack.

Brentford and Wolves are doing what I wanted us to do.

What was the alternative?  He was never going to reintegrate, let's see what happens today

we absolutely don't know that. The cunt would have fucked himself as well if he refused to play for a season.

Tbf it appears the club may have thought that, but at the same time, when the window shuts, would he really just go on strike and potentially remove a year of his career during a world cup year?

125m is still a lot of money for a back up to Ekitike.

Ekitike and Isak won’t be playing a lot of minutes together. It’ll start out as Isak, Ekitike and Salah to try and appease them all but it will be imbalanced and then Ekitike will be dropped and there’ll be a lot of issues behind the scenes. Ekitike and Isak will not work together for them with Salah

I’m confident we’ll pay the premium for Wissa or JSL.

It goes without saying that none of us are happy with how this has played out or how the club have handled it.

Even though it's Isak, Liverpool and the press who are most at fault it's still a terrible precedent.

But, if we get an experienced striker to go alongside Woltemade then I'll still be massively looking forward to the season.

Without always wondering if every time Isak clutches his hamstring that he's just clowning about waiting for a January/summer move.

I think we can draw some conclusions given the turn of events since the meeting last Monday. Now whether he would have really sat on his arse until next year is up for debate, but it's pretty obvious that was his position in those discussions.
